GLOBAL MIAMI Wins Charlie Awards

GLOBAL MIAMI Magazine won Best New Magazine state-wide and an award for feature writing at the Florida Media Conference

We are thrilled to announce we have received two Charlie Awards from the Florida Magazine Association. This year, GLOBAL MIAMI won Best New Magazine across all of Florida, and Editor-in-Chief J.P. Faber won an award for Best Feature Writing for his piece “The Great Tsunami.”

The Charlie Awards have recognized achievements by Florida magazines since 1957. Hundreds of entries are submitted each year and judged by a panel of out-of-state professionals and college journalism professors. This year, the awards event was held in Sarasota, FL as part of the Florida Media Conference.

GLOBAL MIAMI is proud to announce that its sister publication, Coral Gables Magazine, was also the recipient of two awards: Best Featuring Writing (J.P. Faber) and Best Custom Publication for “The City Beautiful: The Complete Guide to Doing Business in Coral Gables & Chamber of Commerce Directory.”
