Tucked amid the glass towers of Brickell, Claudie feels like a chic Riviera escape – one that just happens to slide seamlessly into the pulse of Miami’s financial district.
Here, the restaurant’s seaside soul finds a new rhythm among urban skylines, offering a momentary pause where crisp oysters, lobster spaghetti, and Mediterranean flair come together under city lights.
The ambiance at Claudie is deliberately understated – the kind of elegance that lets the food take the stage. Inside, soft vintage lighting casts a warm glow over leather banquettes and polished tables; outside, the patio hums with city life, punctuated by the clink of wine glasses and the steady flow of conversation.
The evening starts with well-crafted Petites Assiettes: Taggiasca Tapenade is served with crisp baguette croutons and Marinated Sweet Bell Peppers THAT glisten with smoky paprika oil. The Black Angus Beef Tartare, elegantly accompanied by crisp pommes gaufretteS, is every bit as compelling as it sounds – salted, tender, and wonderfully cheeky in the center of Brickell’s bullish energy.
Seafood lovers will gravitate toward the Carpaccios et Tartare section. The Yellowfin Tuna Tartare comes with mint and dill oil, its Mediterranean condiments giving it a refreshing edge. The Branzino Carpaccio, sliced paper-thin and tossed with lemon, fennel, and tarragon, arrives looking almost too pretty to eat.
Meat lovers won’t want to miss the 12oz Entrecôte Wagyu & Frites, rich and deeply marbled, paired with crispy fries and sauces like black pepper or Béarnaise. Those craving pure indulgence can opt for the full rack of lamb or Wagyu tomahawk, herb-crusted and seared by open oakwood flames.
The evening’s showstopper is the Lobster Spaghetti, a full 1.25-pound Maine lobster perched atop ribbons of pasta coated in lush bisque sauce.
Sides at Claudie are thoughtful and flavorful: Truffle Pomme Purée is velvety while the honey-lemon Brussels sprouts strike a satisfying balance between sweet and savory.
The mood softens as the sun sets. Indirect overheads gently illuminate smiling faces and glasses of Provence rosé, while the soundtrack shifts to a low-key, lounge-infused mix – one that feels as at home at white-tablecloth tables as it does leant against the patio railing, city lights in view.
Desserts at Claudie keep the elegance going strong. The Lavender Crème Brûlée cracks with a whisper under your spoon; the Guanaja 70% Chocolate Mousse is deeply satisfying for chocoholics.
In Brickell, where business suits and high-rises dominate the skyline, Claudie offers a welcome breath of Riviera calm.
